Position: Technical Writer 

Location: Washington, D.C.

Pay: $31.84/hour + Weekly Pay

Experience: Previous experience as a technical writer working on public-facing materials for government agencies. 

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Technical Writer to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1. Explain complex technical information in a way that is easy for non-experts to understand.
2. Conduct research on various subjects, including but not limited to housing authority policy, processes, and software.
3. Revise text, suggesting changes in scope, format, and content to align with established standards.
4. Write and edit content, and coordinate with graphic designers in the creation of manuals, instructional material, technical publications, webpages, SOPs, and other written materials as requested.
